"The Cumberland Times" Cumberland, Maryland 4 Nov 1905: 
"Death of Miss Logsdon-Miss Kate Logsdon died last night at 9 o'clock at the residence 
of her sister, Mrs. Edward Mackert, German street. Miss Logsdon was a daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Henry Logsdon, of Corrigansville. She worked at Mr. Footer's dye works. She 
was taken ill about two weeks ago with thypoid pneumonia. She was 24 years of age. Her 
sister, Mrs. Mackert, is lying critically ill. The deceased was a member of St. 
Patrick's church. The funeral will take place on Monday at 9 o'clock. The interment 
will be in St. Patrick's cemetery. The funeral will be in charge of Director Stein."
