"The Cumberland Times" Cumberland, Maryland 8 Sep 1950: 
"Mount Savage-Thomas A. Logsdon, 83, Cemetery Road, died yesterday at his home. 
A son of the late Peter and Ellen Logsdon, he was a retired worker of the Union 
Mining Company. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Holy 
Name Society. He was unmarried. Survivors include three brothers, Benjamin, 
Everett, Pa., Michael, Sumberland, and Meshack, Mt. Savage; and two sisters, 
Mrs. John Mulligan, McKeesport, Pa., and Miss Bernadette Logsdon, at home. The 
body is at home."
