Cumberland Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland Tue 24 May 1968: 
"Barton-William J. Logsdon, 77, died yesterday at the Kyle 
Nursing Home, Lonaconing, where he had been a patient two 
days. A native of Barton, he was a son of the late William 
T. and Mary Ann (McTimpsey-sic-should be McGimpsey) Logsdon. 
He was a retired coal miner and a member of St. Gabriel's 
Catholic Church. Surviving are a brother, Charles S. Logsdon, 
Alexandria, Va., and a sister, Mrs. Charles Howell, Barton. 
The body is at the Boal Memorial Chapel where friends will 
be received from 7 to 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited 
there today at 7: 30 p.m. Requiem mass will be celebrated 
tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church. Burial will 
be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow."
