Cumberland, Maryland 28 Feb 1968: 
"MRS. PETER LONG 
Mrs. Fannie Beatrice Long, 88, formerly of 700 Fayette Street, died yesterday. 
She had been in failing health. Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the 
late John and Margaret (Wegman) Gorman and was the widow of Peter H. Long who 
died in 1931. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the 
Christian Mothers. Surviving are two sons, George W. and John J. Long, city; 
a daughter, Mrs, John L. Schwarzenbach, city; a sister, Mrs. Hugh Tate, 
Greenville, Pa.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The body 
is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 
until 9 p.m., and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m."
