Tuesday, March 14, 1944 Oakland, Md., March 14 - Miss Beulah Edith Lougbridge died at her home on Third street yesterday morning after an illness of two weeks. A daughter of the late George and Martha Lougbridge, she lived here all her life. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and was a teacher in the Oakland elementary school for a number of years. She was active in Red Cross work, having knitted her forty seventh sweater and was engaged in her forty eighth. Surviving are two sisters, Miss May Loughbridge and Mrs. Nettie Thrasher, both of Oakland. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon from the Bolden Funeral Home with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
