Place of Death: Memorial Hospital.  She had been a patient at Allegany County 
                Nursing Home, Cumberland, since Feb 11, 1997.  
Date of Birth: June 1, 1908
Place of Birth: Ocean
Parents: late Charles E. Dawson and Emma Elizabeth (Spiker) Dawson
Preceeded By: her husband, Charles MacFarlane, who had MacFarlane Bakery in Lonaconing.
Occupation: Operated a frozen custard stand in Washington, D.C.  
Religtion: Methodist
Survived By: One son and wife, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three 
             great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews
Funeral: Eichorn-McKenzie Funeral Home
The body was donated to the Maryland Anatomy Board, Baltimore.
