Cumberland Evening Times   June 12, 1919
      J.P. Maclay, aged 87, father of Cyrus O. Maclay, head of the Maclay Shoe 
Comany, this city, died Wednesday at his home on South Fifty-sixth Street, 
Philadelphia.  His death was hastened by a fall sustained last week.  His is 
the first death in the family.  Besides his wife several sons and daughters 
survive.  J.J Maclay Bedford, Pa., with the Pennsylavania Railroad Company, is 
a son.  Cyrus C. Maclay, has gone to Philadelphia to attend the funeral.
