Mrs. Malloy suffered a stroke of paralysis over a year ago. She had been partially recovered and was able to be up and about until last July, when a heart condition developed, which has confined her to her home ever since. Mrs. Malloy was a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Donahue, of Newburg, and the widow of the late William Malloy who died twenty-three years ago. She had resided in this community about forty-five years. She was the last surviving member of her family. Her sister, Mrs. Ellen Walsh, of Homestead, Pa., died about three weeks ago while on a visit here. Two daughters survive: Mrs. Thomas White and Mrs. Thomas A. Moran, both of Westernport. Mrs. Malloy was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin. The funeral services was conducted Tuesday morning at St. Peter's Church with Solemn High Mass. Rev. A. Scarpati, the pastor, was celebrant; Rev. Joseph Moran, of Sacred Heart Church, Washington, was deacon; Rev. M. J. Leary, of St. Elizabeth's Church, Baltimore, was sub deacon and Rev. Wm. E. Kelly, of Hancock, master of ceremonies. Rev. Father Scarpati delivered the sermon. The pallbearers were: Thomas Goeke, Edward Regan, John Crisp, Charles Bell, Heber Poland, Joseph Driscoll, P.J. O'Brien, Michael O'Laughlin, Michael and Charles White. Relatives and friends there to attend the funeral were: John J. Malloy, of Clarksburg; Mrs. Mollie Donahue, Miss Mary Frances Donahue, Miss Mary Lennan and Miss Mary Fahey, of Elkins; John J. Coniff, of Wheeling; Mrs. Clara Connell, of Fairmont; Mrs. Vincent Soisson, Miss Mary Caroline Soisson, Miss Sarah Reynolds, of Connellsville, Pa.; Miss Sadie Donahue, of Glenwood, Pa.; J. F. Burke, Mrs.. Michael Welsh, Mrs. Charles Welsh, Mrs. Ellen Fahey and Mrs. John Mullen, of Cumberland; P.J. Dunn, Miss Suzie Dunn, Wm. Maloney, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Foley, Mrs. Bernice Clem and Mrs. Marie Murray, of Rowlesburg; Miss Winnie Green and Miss Mary Moody, of Frostburg; Mr. and Mrs. Tim Kilduff, of Midland; Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy, of Keyser; Misses Nora and Bridget Geary, of Lonaconing; Mrs. Marcella Bradley, of Barton."
