The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Fri 13 Oct 1905: 
"As we go to press, we learn of the death of Mr. William 
Maloy, of Westernport, who died at 3:00 o'clock this 
(Friday) morning, an account of which we will give next 
week."

The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Fri 20 Oct 1905: "The 
funeral of Mr. Malloy, whose death death occured last Friday 
morning at his home in Westerport, from enlargement of the 
heart, took place Monday morning from St. Peter's Catholic 
church, Rev. Father Heath rendering high mass. The deceased 
leaves a wife, two daughters and a son. The pallbearers 
were Messrs. John Ryan, John Casey, John Griffith, Michael 
O' Donnell, Jerry Murphy and Henry Nau. Mr. J. F. Hoban was 
funeral director.
