Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 7 Mar 1943: 
"Mrs. Carrie H. Manley, 90, widow of George H. Manley, died 
yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles W. 
Bowden, 31 Columbia avenue.  Her grandfather, John Harris, was 
the founder of Harrisburg, Pa., where she was born.  She was a 
daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (Wolfe) Harris.  Surviving, 
besides Mrs. Bowden, is a son, Harry A. Manley, The Dingle; a 
sister, Mrs. Martha Hallerman, Camp Hill, Pa.  Mrs. Manley was a 
member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The body will remain at 
Wolford's funeral Home."
