Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Wed 26 Dec 1973: 
"John J. Manley, 69, of Akron, Ohio, and formerly of Midland, 
died Tuesday at Akron City Hospital. A native of Midland, he 
was a son of the late John and Mary (Kelly) Manley. Mr. 
Manley was a retired employe of the Goodrich Rubber Company 
of Akron. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Grace (McKenzie) 
Manley; one son, John J. Manley Jr., Manchester, Wash.; a 
daughter, Mary Manley, Akron, and three sisters, Mrs. Raymond 
Elliott, Akron; Miss Margaret Manley, Oakland, and Mrs. Agnes 
M. Davis, Midland."
