"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Wed 4 Apr 1956: 
"Lonaconing-Michael A. Marley, 77, died last night at his home on St. Mary's Terrace. 
A retired coal miner, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Mary Ann (McPartland) 
Marley, and was unmarried. Mr. Marley was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and 
the Holy Name Society of the parish. Surviving are four sisters, Miss Catherine Marley 
and Mrs. Matilda O'Rourke, both of Lonaconing; Mrs. John C. Gorman, Washington, and 
Mrs. William Rae, McKeesport, Pa."
