Mrs Martz Dead

Well Known Woman PAssed Away at Allegany Hospital

Mrs Catherine Martz. widow of the late Henry MArtz, died last night at the 
Allegany Hospital. Her husband died January 15, not a month ago, The deceased 
was 65 years old and prior to her marriage was a Miss Ennis. Mrs Martz is 
survived by ten children and twenty nine grandchildren and one sister, Mrs 
Robert Reid, this city.
She was a member of the Sodality of the Virgin Mary, St Patrick's church.The 
surviving children are John Martz, Columbus, Ohio: George and Joseph Martz,  
this city, and Mrs William Stein, Independence
Street: Mrs Charles Matthews, Columbia Street; Mrs George Wagner, Columbia 
Street; Mrs Robert Starr and Miss Florence Martz. all of this city, and Mrs 
Katherine Gannon, wife of John Gannon, Parkersburg,W.VA., And Mrs Bertha 
Pollard, wife of W.E.Pollard, San Francisco, Cal.
The funeral will take place from ST. Patrick's Church at 9 O' Clock Thursday 
morning.
Interment at St Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
