The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, 4 Sep 1891: 
"Barton-Mr. Tom McConnell, Sr., an old and respected 
citizen of Moscow, died at his home, Tuesday of pneumonia. 
Funeral Thursday morning at Catholic church, Barton, 
interment in Catholic cemetery."
