He had been in failing health for some time. A native of Barton, Mr. McGreevy had been employed by the Times & Alleganian Company for 13 years. His parents were the late Thomas and Nancy (Arnold) McGreevy. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary (Malloy) McGreevy; three sons, Arnold G., Patrick B., and John T. McGreevy, at home; three brothers, Bernard V. and Patrick Owen McGreevy, city, and Thomas L. McGreevy, Cleveland, and two sisters, Mrs. Norman E. Sell, city, and Mrs. Clement A. McMurrer, Rutherford, N.J. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m." "Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Wednesday 30 Apr 1958: " McGreevy Burial-Requiem mass for D. Arnold McGreevy, 63, of 605 Woodlawn Terrace, who died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital, will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where the LaSalle Mothers Club will recite the rosary today at 8 p.m. The St. Patrick's Holy Name Society and Cumberland Council 586, Knights of Columbus, will recite the rosary there at 8 p.m. tomorrow. The family will receive friends at the funeral h9ome from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to9 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow."
