The deceased was for a long time a resident of Barton and moved, with his family, to Frostburg only six weeks ago. He is survived by a wife and nine children. The funeral will take place Thursday morning at 9 o’clock from St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The cortege with the remains will take a special Car on the C. & W. Electric railway at 10 o’clock for Barton, where interment will be made in St. Gabriels’s Catholic cemetery. Frostburg Mining Journal 30 January 1909 At his home, this place, Tuesday evening, January 26, 1909 Mr. Michael McGreevy, aged 45. A brief illness of pneumonia resulted sadly for his wife and nine children-one daughter and eight sons. The family removed here about seven weeks ago from Barton.
