She had been ill for four years past, and for ten months had been bedfast most of the time. Eight brothers survive: John and Joseph, of Piedmont; William, Thomas, Francis, Michael, Emmet and James, at home. The funeral service was held Saturday morning at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport, Rev. John A. Smith, officiating. Interment was in St. Gabriel's cemetery, Barton. The pallbearers were Arnold McGreevy, Thomas McGreevy, James, Footen, Thomas Footen, Frank Kelly and Thomas Higgins. Among those who attended the funeral were: Miss Loretta Kenny, Mrs. Anna McGreevy, James Kenny, Mrs. Annie Lannon, Mrs. Bernard McGreevy, and son, Thomas, and Thomas McGreevy, of Cumberland; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Footen and daughters, Kathleen and Irene and Mrs. and Mrs. James Bryson and son, James, and daughter Maleda, of Frostburg; Mr. and Mrs. James Conroy, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Footen and daughter, Dorothy, and Mrs. John Bradley, of Barton; Miss Marguerite Canty and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Canty, of Midland; William Delaney and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Story, of Clarysville, Md., Miss Kate Marley, of Lonaconing."
