The Piedmont Herald 14 June 1945 

Funeral services for William J. McGreevy, 55, who died Friday 
afternoon at his home in Cumberland, were held Monday morning 
at St. Patrick's church there.  Interment was in St. Mary's 
cemetery.  A native of Barton, Mr. McGreevy was a son of the 
late Michael and Anna Footen McGreevy.  Besides his widow, Mrs. 
Bridget Paugh McGreevy, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
Mary Shuck and Mrs. Margaret Zembower, both of Cumberland seven 
brothers, Francis X. McGreevy, Luke; Joseph McGreevy, Piedmont; 
and John J., Thomas J., and James V. McGreevy, all of 
Westernport, and three grandchildren.
