"Sunday Times" Cumberland, Maryland 7 Dec 1941: 
"Lonaconing, Dec. 6-Mrs. Elizabeth Jane McGregor, 48, wife of John McGregor, 
Midland, died early today at Miner's Hospital, Frostburg, where she had been 
a patient for two days. A native of Lonaconing, she was a daughter of Mrs. 
Elizabeth Nolan and the late Daniel Nolan. She was e member of St. Joseph's 
Catholic Church, Midland. Surviving are three sons, James McGann, Cumberland; 
Daniel McGann, Cresaptown, Pvt. Patrick McGann, U.S.A., Aberdeen Proving 
Grounds; three sisters, (sic-should be daughters) Mrs. Elizabeth Fair and Mrs. 
Anastasia Youngblood, both of Midland; Miss Mary McGann, at home, a brother, 
James Nolan, Lonaconing, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Fitzpatrick, Lonaconing, and 
Mrs. Anna Connor, Akron, Ohio."
