Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Friday, November 14, 1947:  
"TRI-TOWNS - Miss Mary Jane McKenna, 86, a native of Barton, died yesterday 
afternoon in Allegany County Infirmary, Cumberland, where she had been a 
patient six years.  Survivors include the following nieces and nephews: Mrs. 
Ollie Gregary, Mrs. Anna Fritz and Joseph McKenna, Baltimore; Mrs. Walter 
White, Greenbelt; James. P., and Edward P. McKenna and Mrs. Bernard Boch, 
Washington, and Mrs. Bernard Ellis, Pittsburgh.  The body is at the Boal 
Funeral Home, Westernport.  A requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 
a. m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport, with interment in St. 
Gabriel's Cemetery, Barton."
