"The Cumberland Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Thur 5 May 1950: 
"Lonaconing-Miss Anna M. McPartland, 42, who died Sunday, was buried 
in St. Michael's Cemetery, Frostburg. A requiem mass at St. Mary's 
Catholic church, here, was celebrated by Rev. Charles Bogan, pastor. 
Miss McPartland taught second grade pupils at Central Elementary 
School. The faculty of Central High School and county and elementary 
school personal (sic) formed an honor guard at the church."
