"The Cumberland Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Wed 4 Mar 1970: 
"Miss Catherine Bernadine McPartland, 85, of 314 Columbia Street, died 
yesterday at Harbor View Nursing and Convalescent Home, Baltimore. Born 
in Westernport, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Halfpenny) 
McPartland. The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where friends will 
be received from today from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 
and 7 until 9 p.m. A Christian wake service will be held tomorrow at 
8:45 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. in St. 
Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul 
Cemetery."
