Mrs. Jennie McPartland, a former resident of this community, died 
Tuesday in Oakland, Calif.  Her husband was the late Richard 
McPartland.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George F. Collins, 
Oakland, Calif.;and four sons, John, Richard, Frank, and Vincent 
McPartland, all of California.  Other relatives include Mrs. Thomas 
C. Stakem, Mrs. John A. Stepleton, and John J. McPartland, 
Cumberland, and Bernard F. McPartland, Lonaconing.

 
NOTE: her given name is Virginia Claire nee Phillips McPartland
