Evening Times, Cumberland, 9 Sep 1959: 
"Mrs. Mary Ellen McPartland, 34, of 849 Reverdy Road, Baltimore, 
died this morning at Union Memorial Hospital there where she had 
been a patient for two weeks.  A former resident of Cumberland, 
Mrs. McPartland moved to Baltimore about 10 years ago.  She was 
born here on May 31, 1925, a daughter of Guy and Margaret T. 
(Carney) Ziler, both of whom survive.  She is also survived by 
her husband, Mr. John P. McPartland.  Mrs. McPartland was a member 
of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Baltimore.  She was a 1943 
graduate of St. Mary's High School, here.  Other survivors, 
besides her parents and husband, include two sons, John P. 
McPartland, Jr., and Patrick E. McPartland, both at home, and a 
twin sister, Mrs. Charles Minke, Baltimore Pike.  The body will 
be at the Scarpelli Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon.
