"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Friday 2 Jan 1948: 
"LONACONING-Mrs. Jennie McPartland, a former resident of this community, died 
Tuesday in Oakland, Calif. Her husband was the late Richard McPartland. Surviving 
are a daughter, Mrs. George F. Collins, Oakland, Calif.; and four sons, John, 
Richard, Frank and Vincent McPartland, all of California. Other relatives include 
Mrs. Thomas C. Stakem, Mrs. John A. Stapleton and John J. McPartland, Cumberland, 
and Bernard F. McPartland, Lonaconing."
