Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland 15 June 1965: 
"Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Meade, 52, Calla Hill, Mt. Savage, died 
Sunday in Sacred Heart Hospital.  She was born in Mt. Savage and 
was a daughter of the late John D. Farrell. Her mother, Rosella 
(McAtee) Farrell is still living.  Survivors other than her mother 
include her husband, Walter Meade, a son, Daniel Meade, at home; 
five daughters, Mrs. Donald Robenson, Baltimore; Carole Ann Meade, 
Silver Spring; Joan, Janet and Jane, all at home; four brothers, 
Raymond Farrell, Cumberland; Edward Farrell, Mt. Savage; James 
Farrell, Midland, and Francis Farrell, McLean, Va.  Five sisters, 
Mrs. Catherine Sweene, Frostburg; Mrs. John Collins, Mrs. Howard 
King and Mrs. James Kelly, all of Cumberland; Mrs. John Kirby, 
Washington, and three grandchildren.  She was a member of St. 
Patrick's Church of Mt.  Savage, Catholic Daughters of America and 
the Sodality. The Rosary will recited today at 8 p.m. by the two 
organizations.  The body is at Stein's Funeral Home where friends 
will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Services will 
be conducted Wednesday at 10 a. m. from St. Patrick's Church, Mt. 
Savage and interment will be in St. Patrick' Cemetery.  
Pallbearers will he Wilbert Logsdon, James Collins, Michael 
Kenney, Gregory King, Edward Malloy and James Gillespie."
