JAMES M. MEALING
Frostburg, March 11 – Word was received here on the death of James M. Mealing, 
75, former resident, at Birmingham, Ala., last night.  Mr. Mealing, a retired 
painter, left Frostburg about 50 years ago, but has been a frequent visitor.  
He has a number of nieces and nephews here.  He was a brother of the late Jabez 
Mealing.  Mrs. Mary Jane Jeffries and Mrs. Polly Workman, this city, and is the 
late of the family.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Thomas, Mrs. Nellie Travis and 
Mrs. Jennie George, Birmingham.
