TOLBERT J. MICHAEL
BERKELEY SPRINGS – Tolbert J. Michael, 85, died yesterday in Morgan County War 
Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted Wednesday.  He had been in failing 
health two years.
A native of Morgan County, he was a son of the late George and Elizabeth 
(Rockwell) Michael.  A retired farmer, Mr. Michael was a member of the 
Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Charles Michael, Charlottsville, Va.; Lawrence and 
George Michael, both of Arlington, Va., and Guy Michael, Berkeley Springs; four 
daughters, Mrs. Marie Machem, Berkeley Springs, Mrs. Mildred Little, Falls 
Church, Va.; Mrs. Pauline O’Haire, Silver Springs, Md., and Mrs. Josie Kidwell, 
Arlington, 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The body is at the Parks Funeral Home where services will be conducted tomorrow 
at 2 p.m. by Rev. H. H. Rowland.  Interment will be in the family cemetery.
