LONACONING - Alonza Miller, 87, of Nikep died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late Alonza and Mary (Walsh) Miller.
He was a retired Celanese employee, a member of the Senior Citizens and the
former postmaster on Nikep.  
Surviving are his widow, Bertha (Rowe) Miller; four daughters, Nondis Sabers,
Cumberland; Thelma McKenzie, Gilmore; Delores Arnold, Denver and Maxine (Murphy)
Gowans, Westernport, and a stepdaughter, Virginia Whitacre, Ridgeley;  three
sons; William Miller, Keyser; Raymond J. Miller, Lonaconing; Russell Rowe
Miller, Vale Summit; one stepson, F. Quail Miller, Baltimore; a sister Della
Mellon, Miami; a brother, Joseph Miller, Scottsdale, Arizona; 24 grandchildren,
 35 great grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren
and three step-great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 7
until 9 PM today and 2 until 4 and 9 until 9 PM tomorrow.
Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM at St.
Gabriel's Church, Barton.  Interment will be in St. Gabriel's Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 PM at the Eichhorn Funeral Home

late Alonza (sic) and Mary (Walsh) Miller.  He was a retired Celanese employee,
