He came to this country in 1878 and located in Allegany County where he has resided ever since. The greater part of that time he has spent in this place. Mr. Miller was a miner by occupation, always Industrious and frugal, a good citizen, a loving husband and kind father. A number of years ago he contracted that dreaded disease, miner's asthma, which caused his death. He is survived by his wife and four sons and one daughter, all residing in Frostburg: Messrs. John Miller, Frank Miller, Joseph Miller, Lawrence Miller and Miss May Miller, and one brother, John Miller, living in New York City. The funeral will take place from the late home of the deceased at 20 Beall street on Monday morning at 9 o'clock, with high requiem mass at St. Michael's Catholic church.
