"Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Chambers Funeral Home in Wellsburg, W. Va., 
for Lawrence Mills, 82, of Windsor Heights, who died July 8 at the Veterans Hospital in 
Oakland, Pa. Burial was in Windsor Heights. He was a retired employee of the Windsor 
Power House Coal Company; a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Church and a veteran of 
World War I. He is survived by his widow, Eva Marie Mayhew Mills, Brester, Ohio; five 
daughters, Bythia Ross, San Francisco, Calif.; Dorothy Schrump, Hanover, Md.; Dolores 
Lombard, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Ruth Petersen, Jensen Beach, Fla. and Margaret Via of Brewster, 
Ohio; five sons, Joe Mills, Windsor Heights; Lawrence Mills, Wooster, Ohio; Leslie Mills, 
Dundalk, Md. and Michael Mills, Follansbee; three sisters, Bridget Sultzer, Cecelia 
Wiltison and Anna Robertson, all of Westernport; two brothers, Francis Mills, Aspenwall, 
Pa. and John Mills, Westernport; 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren."
