Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mills, of 310 Franklin Street, died today at 
Sacred Heart Hospital where she had been a patient since yesterday.  
Born in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary 
(Connolly) Barry.  She was the widow of William H. Mills.  Surviving 
are 4 daughters, Mrs. Mary Shaffer, Mrs. Thomas Cumiskey, Sr., and 
Mrs. Darrell Johnson, all of Cumberland, and Leroy Benner, Utica, 
N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Rooney, Frostburg, and Mrs. Catherine 
Spitzer, Baltimore, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  
Mrs. Mills was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the 
Sodality of that church.  The body will be at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Darrell Johnson, 30 Green Street, tomorrow.  The 
family requests that flowers be omitted.
