Monahan, 50, of 85 W. MainStreet, died yesterday at his residence. Born in Frosbturg, he was a son of the late Edward M. and Margaret (Nichols) Monahan. Mr. Monahan was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Farraday Post 24, American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by two sons, Randy Monahan and Charles Monahan, both of Grahamtown; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Dudley, Frostburg; Miss Jewel Monahan, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Joan Bernard, Lonaconing, and brother, Edward Monahan, Frostburg. The body is at the Hafer Sowers Funeral Home, where friends will be received today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A requiem mass will be celebrated in St. Michael's Church Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
