Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 2 Feb 1940: 
"Westernport--Mrs. Bridget A. Moran, 80, widow of Daniel Moran, died last night at 
her home in Franklin, Md.  She fell last July and fractured her left hip and last 
Wednesday fell again and injured the other hip.  Death probably was due to shock.  
A daughter of the late John and Mary Kady Gilmore, she was a native of Rowlesburg, 
W. Va., and came to this section with her parents when a child.  She was a member 
of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport.  Surviving are three children, Mrs. 
John Hughes, Gorman, Md., andDeSales Moran and Miss Regina Moran, at home; three 
sisters, Mrs. George Cleaver, Westernport; Miss Mayme Gilmore, Washington, and Mrs. 
William H. Greenway, Pittsburgh; and one brother, Timothy J. Gilmore, Toledo, O."
