Moran, aged 76 years, who died at his home at Franklin Monday afternoon, were held in St. Peter's Catholic Church Wednesday morning, Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery. Solemn High Mass was celebrated by Rev. A. Scarpati. Rev. Edward P. McAdams, of Washington, D.C., acted as deacon, Re. J.J. (?), of Baltimore, as sub-deacon, and Rev. Francis P. Ryan was master of ceremonies. Mr. Moran had been in poor health for a number of years and suffered considerably from asthma. He was born in Lonaconing, but resided in this community most of his life. He is survived by his wife, who was before her marriage, Miss Bridget Gilmore, and two daughters and one son, Mrs. John Hughes, Miss Regina Moran and DeSales Moran, all of Westernport.
