Moran, 70, wife of Thomas Moran, 404 Maryland avenue, Westernport, who died Sunday in Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, was celebrated Wednesday morning in St. Peter's Catholic church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Moran, Mrs. Moran's brother-in-law and pastor of St. Thomas Catholic church, Washington, D.C., was celebrant. The Rev. Charles Quinn, assistant pastor of St. Peter's church, was deacon and the Rev. George Pugh, assistant pastor, was sub-deacon. The sermon was delivered by Father Quinn. Interment was in the parish cemetery. Vocal solos were sung by Mrs. Edward Pendergast, of Piedmont, and George Ord, of Westernport. Active pallbearers were William Roberts, Edward Laughlin, James Kelly, Joseph Coury, Leo Herbert, Charles Spriggs, Francis Cosgrove and John McBee. Honorary pallbearers included Joseph Mansfield, James Laffey, Harry O'Rourke, Atty. H. R. Whitworth, Sr., and Lewis Harris. Born at Windon Hill near Cross, Mrs. Moran was a daughter of the late William and Susan Donahue Malloy. A resident of the Tri-Towns practically all her life, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Moran was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church, Sodality of the Blessed Virgin, Court Saneta Maria 485, C.D. of A., and the Alumni association of St. Peter's high school. As Mrs. Moran was graduated from St. Peter's school fifty years ago and would have been given special recognition at the banquet in June, the alumni presented a corsage. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Joseph Moran, Glen Burnie, Md., and three grandchildren. Out-of-town relatives and friends who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moran and daughter, Glen Burnie; Mrs. Vincent Soisson, Jr., Connellsville, Pa.; Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas Moran, Miss Anna Moran, Miss Margaret Moran, Mrs. Timothy Kilduff, Mrs. Catherine Ryan, Washington, D.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bayles, Bradshaw, Md.; Mrs. James Coyle, Cumberland; Thomas Kilduff, Mt.
