Her maiden name was Mary Morrissey and she was born in the Parish of Melvilla, County Galway, Ireland. She emigrated to the United States 65 years ago. She married the late Daniel J. Moran about 60 years ago in St. Patrick's Church, this city, it being the first wedding in that church. To this union was born eleven children of whom the following survive, Messrs. M. P. and Frank, of this city; John X. Moran, of Lonaconing; Daniel J. Moran, of Thomas, W. Va. After their marriage they resided in Covington, Ky.; New Orleans, La.; and spent many years in West Virginia, but the principal part of their lives was spent in Allegany County. The funeral will take place from St. Mary's Church, this city, at 9 o'clock Saturday morning with interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Mr. Daniel J. Moran, his children, Mary and Michael, of Thomas, are here and also the following members of the family: John, and family, of Lonaconing, Miss Nellie Kenny, of Fairmont, W.
