"The Piedmont Herald" Piedmont, West Virginia, Thursday 23 April 1936: 
"Funeral services for James William Munsie, aged 47 years, who died Sunday 
afternoon, at his home 420 Hammond Street, Westernport, were conducted 
yesterday at 2:30 o'clock in the United Bretheran Church, by the pastor, 
Rev. C. K. Welch. Interment was in Philos cemetery. Fellow employess of 
the W. Va. Pulp and Paper Co. were pallbearers. Besides his widow, he is 
survived by four children, Norris, Hilda, Mildred and Donald Munsie, all 
at home; two brothers, John Munsie, of Piedmont, and Roy Munsie, of Barnum, 
and a sister, Mrs. Lola Garris, of Oakland."
