Interment was in St. Michael's cemetery. The pallbearers were her five grandsons: Richard V., James, John, Frank and Alphonsus, and their cousin, Thomas Cain. She is survived by one daughter, Margaret, in Nova Scotia, and two sons, Richard, in Ohio and Jacob, in Frostburg, also twenty-three grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. The deceased was 99 years old and a remarkable woman. She had been a widow fifty-eight and a half years and has been making her home for the last twenty years with her son, Jacob Nairn, in this city."
