Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, June 7, 1972:  
"FROSTBURG--James Nairn, 28, a native of Frostburg, was fatally injured Monday 
when apparently fell from a cliff while attending a picnic in the Cleveland area, 
according to word received by relatives here.  He was a son of John and Betty 
Carder Nairn of Garfield Heights, Cleveland, with whom he resided.  Also surviving 
are two brothers, John Nairn, Lorain, Ohio and Gerald Nairn, at home.  The body is 
at the Rybiczki and Son Funeral Home in Cleveland.  Mass of the resurrection will 
be celebrated in Garfield Heights Friday, with interment there."
