"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, 3 May 1916: "
John O'Brien, aged 89 years, for many years a bookkeeper for the 
B & O, but who had been retired for the last 16 years, died last 
night at the home of a son-in-law, Dominick Sebold, 283 Columbia 
Avenue. He leaves four children: Mrs. Dominick Sebold; Miss 
Bridget O'Brien, Connellsville, Pa.; John O'Brien, Roanoke, Va.; 
and Martin O'Brien, Newark, Ohio. The deceased was a member of 
St. Patrick's Church where the funeral will take place."
