"Cumberland Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, 6 Nov 1922: "
Mt. Savage: John O'Brien, aged 72 years, died Saturday at the home of 
his sister, Mrs. Francis McDermott, following an illness of several 
months. Mr. O'Brien was born at Patterson Creek, W. Va. For the past 
18 years he had made his home with his sister who is the only 
surviving relative. The funeral took place from St. Peter's Church 
this morning with a high mass of requiem by Rev. John W. Dowling, 
pastor. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Westernport, Maryland."
