"Cumberland Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, 2 Feb 1946: "
Midland- Patrick Francis O'Brien, 60, manager of Firemen's Hall and 
charter member of the Midland Volunteer Fire Company, died early this 
morning at his home, Paradise Street, after a brief illness. Born Feb. 
13, 1866 in Midland, Mr. O'Brien was a son of the late Michael and 
Mary Ann (Comer) O'Brien. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic 
Church and the Holy Name Society..."
