"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, 28 Apr 1905: 
"Mr. John O'Connor, who was hurt on the C & P Railroad on Wednesday morning died 
yesterday. He leaves a wife and family of small children without any support. The 
untimely death of Mr. O'Connor has case a gloom over the entire community, and 
great sympathy is expressed in every quarter for the wife and family. The funeral 
notice will be announced later." NOTE: John O’Connor died in Lonaconing and is 
buried at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lonaconing. He was the husband of 
Josephine Nolan.
