Mr. Daniel Offman, of this city, died at the hospital in Cumberland Sunday morning from typhoid fever, after a short illness. His remains were brought to Frostburg and taken to the home of his mother, Mrs. Anna Offman, on Federal Hill. The deceased was 40 years of age and is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Messrs. Steven, Philip and William Offman, Miss Katie Offman, Mrs. Wm. Eisel and Mrs. Eliza Loar. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence on Federal Hill. Rev. F. C. Fleck, of the Zion Evangelical Church conducted the services at the house, after which the cortege proceeded to the German Lutheran Cemetery on Mt. Pleasant Street, where interment was made.
