O'Rourke, 47, died suddenly early yesterday morning at his home, 1912 Frederick Street. He was an assistant supervisor in the textile department of the Amcelle plant of Celanese Fibers Company. Mr. O'Rourke was a native of Midland, and a son of the late Patrick and Elizabeth (McMahon) O'Rourke. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and was a member of Cumberland Council 856, Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth C. (O'Neal) O'Rourke; two sons, William P. O'Rourke, with the Navy at Yorktown, Va., and Charles W. O'Rourke at home; a daughter, Miss Betty O'Rourke, at home and four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Schaffer, San Mateo, Cal., Mrs. John Reagan, New Salem, Pa., and Mrs. Clara Cassidy, Masontown, Pa. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home. Requiem Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Marius Elsener, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The La Salle Mothers Club will recite the Rosary tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The Holy Name Society of SS. Peter and Paul Church and the Knights of Columbus will recite the Rosary at 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral chapel."
