He had been in ill health for several years. Mr. O'Rourke was a retired pipefitter from Amcelle Plant of Celanese Fibers company. He was born May 5, 1900 Midland, the son of the late John T and Mary Ellen (Creamer) O'Rourke. Mr. O'Rourke was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church and was an extraordinary minister of the church. He belonged to the St. Vincent dePaul Society and was one of the first members of the parish council at St. Patrick's Church. He also was a member of the St. Patrick's Senior citizen Club; Cumberland Council 586, Knights of Columbus since 1918 and was a past grand knight of the council. He was a member of Chief Justice Taney General Assembly, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elmo (Martin) O'Rourke; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Kelly, Baltimore, one sister, Mrs. Mary Harbaugh this city and four grandchildren.
