Cumberland Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 30 Jun 1948: 
"LONACONING-Miss Elizabeth Ann Plaskett, 69, died yesterday morning at 
the home of her sister, Mrs. George McMurdo, Douglas Avenue, with whom 
she had resided the past year. Miss Plaskett was a native of Pekin, 
daughter of William and Elizabeth Black Plaskett, England. She lived 
in Pekin the greater part of her life. Six sisters survive. They are 
Mrs. Sara King and Mrs. Thomas Lee, Pekin; Mrs. McMurdo, Lonaconing; 
Mrs. Alex Stevenson, Monesson, Pa.; Mrs Ethel Dahl, Toledo, Ohio; and 
Mrs. Irvin Hamilton, Washington, Pa. Interment will be in Laurel Hill 
Cemetery, Moscow. Services win be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. by 
Rev. John S. Stacks, pastor of the Lonaconing Methodist Church. 
Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow."
