Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 26 Jun 1945: 
"Westernport, June 26-A requiem mass will be held Thursday 
moming at 8 o'clock in St. Peter's Catholic Church here for 
Miss Mary Elizabeth Reddington, 148 West Fairview street, 
Piedmont, who was found dead in bed yesterday. Interment 
will be In the church cemetery. She resided with a sister, 
Miss Margaret Reddington. Daughter of the late John and 
Catherine Reddington, Piedmont. She had lived her entire 
life in Piedmont. Miss Reddington was a clerk in the R. H. 
Drane dry goods store, Piedmont, 50 years. She retired 
when the business was discontinued. Miss Reddington was a 
member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, the Catholic 
Daughters of America, the Sodality of the Blesed Virgin 
and the Piedmont Women's Club. Besides the sister with whom 
she resided, Miss Reddington leaves two other sisters, Mrs. 
Catherine Conroy, Piedmont, and Mrs. Bridget Malloy, 
Washington."
