The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Friday, 6 Oct 1911: 
"Arthur, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Reed, died Sunday morning, 
Oct. 1, 1911, at their home in Luke, aged 19 years and 9 months.  
The funeral took place Tuesday morning from St. Peter's Catholic 
church, with interment being in the Catholic Cemetery."
